🚀 FROM ROBOTS TO ROCKETS: DOZENS OF D99 STUDENTS SPENT THEIR SUMMER AT MORTON COLLEGE'S STEAM CAMP! 🔬

Another incredible Summer STEAM Camp is in the books!

This summer, dozens of Cicero District 99 students spent their days exploring, creating, building, and discovering through Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math at Morton College.

From robotics and coding to engineering challenges, hands-on science experiments, creative design projects, and problem-solving activities, our student's didn't just learn —they experienced what it means to think like innovators.

One of the highlights was an unforgettable field trip to Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry, where students explored world-class interactive exhibits, tackled hands-on engineering challenges, discovered how science and technology shape our everyday lives, and saw firsthand how curiosity can become innovation.

The best part?

This opportunity was completely FREE for our families. While programs like this often come with a significant cost, thanks to our outstanding partnership with Morton College and funding through the Illinois State Board of Education's After School Programs Grant, District 99 students were able to participate at no cost. Even better, the camp is offered on a first-come, first-served basis — and it fills up within minutes every year!

A huge thank you to the dedicated staff at Morton College and everyone who helped make this amazing experience possible. Your passion and commitment are opening doors and inspiring the next generation of scientists, engineers, artists, innovators, and leaders.
